Basic Needs

Homelessness exists even in paradise. Many of Hawaii’s homeless find themselves around the islands’ beaches, parks and other places where they can find refuge. The Salvation Army provides assistance to families who are in this daunting situation. We provide hot meals through our soup kitchens, deliver food bags, clothing, and where appropriate -- health, physical and substance abuse counseling.

Family Services Office

Provides basic material assitance, short-term utility and rent, clothing, and food assistance, referral services, and budgeting/nutrition workshops.
